As the content of will books differed between locations in Virginia, this index may include bonds (administrator, executor, guardianship), appointments of officials, divisions, accounts, divisions, inventories, plats, lists of slaves, apprenticeship indentures, powers of attorney, and settlements. Over 100 pages are devoted to Arlington/Alexandria records. This multiple-volume set will be completed geographically.
